If you were a student of a venerable icon who witnessed the arrival of ECC then, like him, you probably never managed to comfortably see everyting that you were doing when operating on a mitral valve through the left atrium... unless, of course you're already using the CORONEO COR-VALV system.

COR-VALV atrial retractor

The COR-VALV system is the slimmest assistant you've ever had for mitral valve surgery.  The three fingered atrial retractor can be clamped on the same platform used by the COR-VASC system and then deployed to spread the fingers apart to create the optimum opening in the left atrium for mitral valve surgery.  One retractor is all you need!

With the versatile clamping system provided, the retractor can be mounted in any location and orientation within the surgical space.  This allows you the unique possibility of pulling on the tissue in the direction YOU want, not just the direction the retractor system wants.

Click on the link COR-VALV to immediately jump to more detailed information on this system.
